Incorporating technology in the classroom is a wonderful way to enhance students learning. Below are a couple of my favorite digital resources to use while teaching.
Bee-Bot and Blue-Bot
Bee-Bot and Blue-Bot are kid-friendly robots. They are easy to use and they teach coding related concepts such as programming and algorithms. They seamlessly fit into the classroom because they can be used to teach various topics such as counting, reading and identifying directions. Smart Notebook
SMART Notebook is a software that you can download onto your computer or iPad. It can also be downloaded and used on a SMART Board. With SMART Notebook, you can create interactive lessons to use in the classroom. There are tons of features that you can use like games adding games and weblinks to make enhance the learning experience. Below is a link to a video of a lesson I taught using SMART Notebook.
